UStiA Membership Qualifications

There are three membership levels:

1. Regular Member
2. Associate Member
3. Subscriber

Full Member Qualifications

• Insurance Carrier
• Third Party Administrators (TPA's)
• Managing General Agents (MGA's)
• Managing General Underwriters (MGU)
  MGU's must underwrite, distribute and administrate travel insurance programs.
• Brokers and Administrators
  Must be in the insurance business and derive at least 50% of their annual revenue from travel insurance.

Regular Member Benefits

• Membership dues allow four company employees to participate in the Association
• Four individuals can participate on UStiA committees (maximum of two employees on the same committee)
• Access to Web Site
• Attend Annual Conference at a discount
• Receive materials at no charge
• Corporate entity can have more than four individuals in the Association. Must pay $500 for each additional person.

Associate Member Qualifications

• Travel Assistance Companies
• Air Ambulance Companies
• Travel Suppliers
• Software Suppliers
• Travel Companies who provide services to the travel industry

Associate Member Benefits

• Dues allow one employee to actively participate in the association.
• One individual can participate on UStiA committees
• Access to Web Site
• Attends Annual Conference at a discount
• Receive materials at cost
• Attend educational programs
• Corporate entity can have more than one individual in the Association. Must pay $250 for each additional person.

Subscriber Member Qualifications

• Retail Travel Agency
• Retail Travel Agents
